it's still a beta version full race version should be out by the olympics. he just rode it to either 2nd place in the Fontana Short Track XC or the full XC, depending on whether he used this or his Anthem Advanced.

Crude yes but thoroughly embedded with technology! ....including the inner tube chainstay protectors heheh He must hate the noise of the chain slapping to carry such an added weight. To think he can get Giant to replace the entire bike anytime...why care about gasgas d ba? he mus hate the noise --> OC

he's probably on tubeless (xtr wheels) but it's still better to bring extra tube in case you get a flat and the sealant doesn't work..

But is tht gas canister capable of : 1. tubeless inflation ...pressure issues? 2. 2 tires...you ll try to inflate the flat tubeless tire first (baka madale...some flats are just caused by unseated beads from rocks twisting the tires)
abit OT but come to think of it: Have you guys ever heard of an XC rider who experienced a flat and still ended up winning the race?

meron na yata (if you're willing to run your tire flat and sacrifice your rims, that is!), and enough guys have at least still finished a race on a flat, or after fixing them. very important if you're chasing world cup or norba points! those compressed air cannisters are great! i've never used one myself, but i've seen them work. the big air cannister should be good enough for 2 tires. even if it wasn't it should be good enough to get the rider to the service pits for another one. plus, you'll need CO2 for sure to try to pump up a ust or converted tubeless tire if it comes off the rim.
