Is this the reason why you're selling your haro? Looks like the road bike you've been dreaming of.

there are still rumors of a Yeti rail bike that will replace the ASX... The 7 is more of a 575 with extra travel (a Nomad fighter so to speak)...

I think flipinidaho is right, it's not really a big hit bike like the ASX, more of a long travel trail/All Mountain bike, one step rougher than the 575.
I'll be really interested to see if Yeti brings out something new to replace the ASX, and if so what it is. The ASX is really a classic design, one of the bikes that defined the entire concept of a "freeride bike". Gotta wonder what they have up their sleeve as an upgrade!

I'm thinking that the ASX can only be replaced by something like a 303 Lite... or not at all... For some reason, I just don't see anyone doing Slopestyle kinda riding on the 7 as I'm not sure if the rear axle supported on one side can take that kind of abuse..

Yeah, the design does give you a lot to wonder about. But hey, they've phased out the ASX to make room for this one (all the other models have been retained,) so I suppose we'll just have to wait for some real world reviews to see how it holds up. Nice price though Jenson's having a 3 month pre-order on the thing

I love Yeti...
Their design is well engineered that even put a hole in the top tube... that you will think it is not strong enough to handle heavy loads... but there is no complaint of broken in this part of the frame...
Now, Yeti Seven... I can still can not figure out how a single chain stay works.... Maybe I need to try one of this frame so I will know how it works... ;D
