i have my own version of how to fold wheels... but it typically doesn't fold back out.. hehe

Why? By the looks of it, even if folded, the size/profile is not significantly reduced, which should be the only reason for inventing a folding wheel.

so...it's probably good for commuter bikes, but...i see that the tire used is a low profile, meaning higher psi.

-hmm yup whats the purpose? -is its safe? will it not fold accidentally by itself while doing 50kph + downhill
