Upon second look, those look like AM Classic hub shells only. The axle caps/end caps are a little different. Having said that, AM Classics are decent hubs and super light. However, the freehub design and sealing of the cartridge bearings are not at the same level as King's. If your'e comfortable with working on your own hubs, go for the Cycle King (it's easy to overhaul as well). If you want maintenance free, go for Chris King (although Chris King hubs are easy to break down as well). Personally, I would go Chris King for the rear hub for the engagement points and Cycle King for the front if money was an issue. If money was no issue and I'm going for a weight weenie wheelbuild, I'd go DT Swiss 190...

i'm just thinking that the cheaper option is to perhaps buy the black AC hubs and have it anodized by randall - well red would be nice i guess ;D

As mentioned above, the AC hubs are good...I still have mine for over 3 years now and just replaced the bearings once during the first year I've discovered that the less often you clean/wash/hose your bikes actually extend the life your bearings from your hubs, BB, pivots and others... Now, only thing I often clean is my chain ;D

Opps, sorry guys/mods... doesn't mean to OT here but for the price and weight, I would say it's comparable to AC hubs so not a bad option
