These grips always intrigued me whenever I saw them in the magazines so when I saw them in the local REI store, I thought why not? For $28 I'll give it a try They look and feel different. My hands were comfortable the whole night ride today. It seems like it even absorbed more vibration when going over the rough stuff. The weight is probably it's major downside coming in at 150gms on my scale.

Werent these grips put down by MBAction coz it hampers the reach for the brake levers? and the grip maker countered and suggested that the test crew use the ladies version which were narrower I 'd like to try these but in the ladies model good find

i think one of the complaints i read before about the grip at mtbr.com is because of its unusually large palm rest area and shape, the outer fingers wont be able to grab/wrap the grips properly during technical descents...am not sure how true...and i don't care, i usually walk those portions hehehe!

i've the GC2 with the little stubby bar ends, comfy as hell...and i surprisingly didnt mind the weight penalty at all
hopefully the price will rationalize considering other grip manufacturers have come out with their own pseudo versions.
