Any comments? Planning to get a pair at Bike Town soon @ Php 1,200 / piece ;D Tinker is your typical cross country racer - skinny, fit and fast . He wanted to build a tire that was a racer’s dream, but felt equally at home in an all day epic. From this criteria the Dred Tread was born. Thanks to the low profile knobs, it’s a fast rolling tire. Tinker designed it using our Dual Tread Compound to provide needed cornering grip with the added benefit of longer wear in the tire’s center and low rolling resistance. Each knob on the tire accomplishes a specific duty and we added Tinker’s initials on the side knobs for that personal touch. + Dual Tread Compound (DTC) for longer tread life and added traction + Low profile knobs for more race speed + Lightweight and fast rolling + Front or rear use

if i had much to spare i'd buy it. have been eyeing that model and wondering if its the rider or the tyres that go fast. buy it then and post your own review of the tyres, thank you.

I just installed the 1.8 dred tread on my turner nitrous and i must say they are quite impressive tires. i noticed that it runs silently and smoothly on the road. on the dirt, it bites and brakes nicely on any kind of terrain. i used a maxxis 310 in the rear and twister supersonic in the front with tubes before and i must say the dred tread is a little bit better. I run them tubeless with stans. the only advantage i had on my old set up was the weight. but since i converted the kendas to tubeless, the weight difference was somehow lessened. the extra confidence and comfort you get from these babies are well worth a little weight penalty.
