grrr. i can't break my '04 XCP75. i bought it below Php2,000 last december'05, & i am abusing it since then. btw, i do dj's, streets (playing with my fellow bmx riders, hehe), mild freeride & downhill with it. ;D
as for me, SUNTOURs are better than rapid suspension technology
PEACE ;D

I love my XCR, now even more since I have the model with the Remote Lockout (I gave the other one to my wife). A bit heavier than the Zokis but a lot lighter on the pocket.

Suntour XCR, with lockout. Good enough for a cheap alternative... I broke the rebound after... about 10 rides.

Wow! I hope mine doesn't break that soon... at least until December! Yes I broke it in 10 rides, but during those rides, I really gave it a hard time. One of which is a 5 day ride in mountain province & a 3 day ride to tirad pass, which consist of at least 30 times river crossing, several thigh deep & one must be at least 6 feet deep (see video ). Surely with the abuse it went to, it is likely to fail.

Ah! You got me worried there. I think it'll take me til December to come up with the same amount of abuse.

fiona, I just don't want it to break down on me. Especially if I'm bombing down hills with Aris!! I still have to adjust it. It's a bit more stiff than the one I gave to my wife. Ka Verong, that was a nice cooling dip!

sold my 2007 xcr fork to fellow PinoyMTBiker member after using it for a month or so... all i can say is that these forks are the best forks you can buy within the 2500 peso budget ... id say its a poor man's dropoff design wise hehe ;D ;D ;D

i use the XCR 13 months and still counting... i use it for trials and some small jumps in PEYUPS sometimes.... good fork for the money... countless endos, front hops and endo drops later its still good... maybe i just got used to that "tap out" sound whenever i compress and explode for a bunnyhop... the fork is ok to be abused on the streets... don't use it for dirt jumping i saw countless forks of this kind and they just snap to pieces without warning... good thing those riders managed to bail out for safety...

If only Mr. RC of MBAction endorses this fork, the price of it will never be the same again. Suntour Forkx are excellent. Sad to say it's not even on their small ads, grrrr hehehehheh

for real, there is something wrong with the suntour fork... not that i'm discouraging you from owning/buying one... but i have heard some gripes/rants about the fork...
let's wait for the review of ex-owners of these forks...
