dayuhan was in town last night. we usually go for beers. but on special occasions when dorightwoman brings in some bottled liquid sunshine from scotland. we momentarily let go of our plebeian tastes and upgrade to singlemalt. this was what we had last night the bounties of the isle of Islay with chorizo and sungsung peanuts dayuhan said he'd taste all three in separate glasses and compare. results of the comparison: "i'll have all three anytime" camera play with the cork foil-wrap the bike garage: carcasses of our extremely inebriating conquestsour bias for Islay singlemalt is obvious. line 'em up! let's see what's under the sink: what dayuhan would call "blended muck", but i really don't mind blended scotch when there's no good singlemalt available. not to forget our roots, ginebra 80proof. for constipation, cerveza negra our collection of moonshine for the non-discerning: bourbon, local schnapps, spiced gin our staple, with the occasional Tsingtao when budget affords cooking stuff: sayote wine, white wine, red table wine, anisado, emperador, cheap scotch. also serves as buffer stock for the hard times for really hard times: 140proof (70%alcohol) ride hard. drink well. pose. enjoy life

my kinda topic SMB Pale Pilsen is an all-time favorite followed by Super dry. Both from the bottle and if I can control the temp, 6degrees is a winner! no ice puhhleez...i wanna taste my liquid not drown it. I normally mix 50% mineral water with my single malts and laphroaig is a good one. how do you take yours? we use the above to wash adobong salagubang, freshly grilled pork ribs, tender goat stew and even boy bawang. no photographic evidence though, they're normally discarded once consumed. enjoy your poison ;D
