Now that we have done it, Rache and I have agreed, we will not, won't ever, never again, do this again. We really have new found respect for multi-stage tour riders. Galing! Going home (-minus kennon climb) was actually harder than getting there. 1. Our muscles were in "debt" already, so we ached the whole way. We were truly wasted. Di ngakami nagusap from Malolos to Malabon! Bulacan did not seem that long the 1st time!!! Tarlac though, was as long and as hot as ever! If I never, see, hear, smell, or anything Tarlac again I will be very happy. VERY HAPPY! 2. I don't know if it was windier or without a big group to shield us, but we were really fighting the wind on the way home. If it wasn't against us, it was trying to topple us over. Thanks for the support you guys, we spent most of our rest stops reading/replying to text messages. It really helped. still we salute you!!!

I used to show up on century rides with cheap tribar/bullhorns and bar end on my bike before, badanna on my head to stop the dust and dirt from penetrating the open pores of my scalp specially during noon time. Kept the dandruff away to preserve gayouthful looks. Everybody was laughing at my contraptions. Halfway through the ride,,,, they said " why I didnt think of that" I ll post my setup for the Baguio ride ... baduy looks but I tell ya...the mechanics who saw my setup didnot complain and understood my choices . nga lang...my X9 RD + flexxing dropout failed me. kept ghost shifting starting at Pampanga up til baguio na they were already broken pala...overused and abused . good thing I used new chains which proved to be tough despite the iffy RD re set up. I like the helmet set up you have mod alphabolt, the sun protector thing is ingenious.

35+ brave PinoyMTBiker people converging, planning and safely transporting themselves across 250+ kilometers of scorching pavement, dangerous buses and killer heat , and the icing on the cake called kennon road, the collective discipline made this century ride a great success, people with different fitness levels agreeing to stay in a regulated pace and a peloton for the ultimate safety of every rider.. of course there were moments of power bursts.. where the maximum pace was exceeded.. hehe.. gutom na yun! trans: where the heck is that darn cocolandia!!! congrats to everyone! and to the two brave souls who pedalled back to manila, your are the true idols!!! rock on wifi and jeremygo! and lastly Thanks so much for the roadies in Urdaneta! bless your souls brothers on bikes! To the NDCC ambulances salamat din po!!!Ride hard and ride safe guys!!! ;D

@ jeremy and wifi
astig talaga kayo....you did a double-double+1 century....now you can share your achievement to the person sitting beside you on the bus when you travel that long stretch again
so what's next ...there are many possiblities.....for me i still need to accomplish manila-baguio in one day hopefully next year
here's some possibilities 1) manila-baguio via marcos 2) manila-banawe with dalton pass and lagawe climbs 3) manila-mayon rest house 4) baguio-sagada via halsema highway 5) banawe-sagada via mt.polis-bontoc 6) manila-pagudpud (multiday) 7) candon-sagada via tirad pass (97% trail)
