ei guys, m using specialized adrenaline tires < 26x2 > came standard on my bike. mataas nga design nila so it's big for a 2 in. tire. enwei's it really looks cool, rides great on any terrain, so far no flats.

oops.. it's roll-x sport pala.. anyway.. whats the best tire ba for mostly road and a little but rocky trail? ser, if weight's not a problem for you, let me suggest the Maxxis Larsen TT 2.3. great on the road/urban and trails that you describe as well. disregard the suggestion that it's designed for DH (which is true naman kasi hehehe). give it a try and you'll see/feel the difference

hmmm....ok,here's what i've tried so far. Tioga tires (forgot the model) : great all around tires. didn't encounter any problems, not really that light. Nokians gazzaloddi dual 2.1's: heavy ones but eats the curves with no problems, used going to real quezon century ride! . Michelin comp S light 2.0's These tires are the best i've tried so far. very very light ones and great all around tires. good traction on any type of terrain (hard to find nowadays and a bit pricey) Current tires: WTB epicwolf 1.95's Hard compound, a bit uncomfy on turns. needs proper pressure to get the desired traction on/off road.hard to wear out, made of hard compound. a bit on the heavy side. cant wait til they're worn out to try another brand. would love to try the nevegals

[glow=yellow,2,300]In my opinion, Maxxis High roller is still the best tires for a few bucks. Be it 1.9 or 2.1 for xc, 2.35 freeride/all mountain and 2.5 dh.The tires hooks up well on turns, braking, rockies and loose dirt.
Hard to find though...[/glow]

AFAIK Specialized changed the name of their adrenalin tires to resolution because of issues with the name adrenalin. BTW are Specialized tires with the Armadillo tech available locally?

Endoboy, i'd like to try those tires too... Where exactly is Dan's Bike Shop? [/glow]

Post by CARLOfornicator(censored) on Feb 23, 2006 22:06:26 GMT 8
well brad i think it depends on how u ride, some may prefer 1.9's and some might prefer 2.1's,you have to find your own comfort zone, dont depend on other peoples opinion as long as you feel good with your setup....
