oakley radars - hydrophobics is a good choice.... vision is never compromised although a tad expensive.

Here's my review of the Specialized Chicane. Google for images. I got it from Dan's bike shop, I was planning to get the Singletrack model but they ran out of it. Anyway, I got the Chicane with a blue frame. The photochromatic lenses are nice, they do change their shade depending on how bright the sun is. You'd barely notice it changing though. It has anti-fog properties but it still gets foggy when i after pedalling hard and resting. I think the shape of my face has something to do with it. The glasses are balanced but for some reason it sort of envelopes the left side of my face than my right side. Clarity is no contest, I was used to the clarity of my Mojave shades, no distortion whatsoever. The Chicane did the same, which is nice....this baby costs a lot. Cleaning the oil out of the lenses is a bit tricky. The manual says to use the microfiber pouch, but I still wash it with some soap and water. Clarity: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Weight: 5/5 Thanks Sir anthrax76 for this review. I am considering to buy a pair of Specialized Optics (Chicane/Divide/Half Time/Singletrack). Has anyone checked the prices of these recently? Thanks.

Would you go for Rudy Project or Specialized Optics? I am looking for shades with Photochromic lenses but most of the time I will be using them for night rides. TIA

I have Flak Jacket Livestrong Edition. hydrophobic also. What's great with their cycling models is that they have accessory interchangeable lenses. I plan to buy the clearer one for night / dawn rides.
I have good experience with the Oakley distributor here. I have Wiretap, their prescription eyeglasses, also. Days before the 1 year warranty ends, I accidentally stepped on it. They tried to bend it back to place but broke after several days of use. They replaced the frame. No questions asked. Almost a year after the replacement, I crashed during my trail ride in Maarat with my glasses at my back pocket. It surely got deformed again. They didn't replace it this time, but they aligned the frame to its original form at no cost. Just got the frame last night and it still looks brand new.
Got mine, both the shades and prescription glasses, at Perez Optical Libis.

been an oakley fan for years now... my first was a wiretap, though tat didn't last too long since it was probably too small for my face... I also have a titanium spike(pang-japorms) and a Black Iridium Double X-metal(bigger brother of the Juliet) which I use for biking. I've been using the Double X's for biking for quite some time now, but because it's heavy, it tends to slide down on your nose when traversing rough terrain so I don't recommend this for mtb use. Recently, I was able to buy a limited ed bike-specific "Team CSC" Radar path... it hugs your face nicely and peripheral vision is not restricted. plus, it's weight is just right... perfect! Oh, and yes, those hydrophobic lenses are something else... One thing I don't like about the Oakleys, they don't sell lenses per piece. You scratch 1, you buy a pair Nonetheless, Oakleys only for me... no more, no less
