The first time I heard of this was during a team meeting way back (Men's Health All Terra), juboy was raving about it.. he just tried it a few times and was surprised on how an "ahon" (uphill) seemed like "patag" (flat road). Then it was our torture mistress xhi who was swearing by it. After more than a year and much research (it being safe as Pharmanex is an official sponsor of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City and America's Olympic team through 2004. and its a liscenced product of the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC). how safe could that be?)... I tried it.. 2 days had passed and I noticed a big difference. Every single day, I climb up a Maarat-like hill on the way to work... and some 15 step-stairs after that.. I usually have to pace myself as I climb the hill at stop for a second or two to catch my breath before crossing C5 (to market market) The other day, when I started with CordyMax, IT DIDN'T FEEL LIKE I WAS WALKING UPHILL!!!! I was able to work out strong too. I lifted 185lbs (45s and 25s on the side) with my squats after not going to the gym for so long! Makes me wonder how my PMTBerks would be performing if I share this wonderful discovery with them... thus the post. Grabe.. all I can say is that, CordyMax rules!!! any one of you tried this suplement?

What is it, actually, as in active ingredients? I'm always a little skeptical about supplements...

Ok, I used Google, and this is allegedly derived from some mushroom that grows in Tibet, which makes me wonder how they get enough of it to market the product widely.
There are lots of references to a scientific study conducted by the Fit Stop Human Performance Laboratory in Encinitas, CA, which sounds ever so credible...
Except that when I type "Fit Stop Human Performance Laboratory" into a Google window, I only get 5 hits - and they all involve Cordymax. That kinda gets some alarm bells ringing, I'd expect to see a wider range of research referred to in a real research institution.
Now, I know not everyone shares my views on this stuff, and those who are more daring than I are more than welcome to go for it... but personally, I'm pretty careful about what I put in my body, and until I know a lot more about it (as in chemical composition, actual sources of raw materials, etc), I'd rather stay away. The supplements industry is notoriously underregulated, and there have been problems in the past with contamination, side effects, etc...
Good luck.

I bought and tried cordymax out of "pakikisama" to my friend who sold NuSkin products. I felt less tired after working long hours and more energetic (don't know if it's psychological ) even by just taking 1 capsule per day, which is way under the recommended dosage. Why did I stop taking cordymax? It's too much to shell out 2k a month. If you follow the recommended dosage the whole bottle is good only for 12-15 days, which means you end up spending 4k++. Plus, I tend to be cynical towards products that are sold thru MLM's

my friend ( a triathlete) recommended cordymax for my preparation on my first full marathon, pasig intl. marathon last feb. 2007, and i gave it a try, one month before the marathon, the first week i took 3x a day (2 capsule) then 2x a day for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th week. It helps a lot, it gves me endurance ( 4 hours of running) i feel i can still run for few minutes pa. this cordymax is great.

^^ das why I just use one capsule per serving, 2x a day - and make sure i maximize it by using the extra push it gives me by working out (running, goin to the gym, etc)
oh, yeah, a bottle costs P2,500 for 120 caps... for me, 40php a day is just like eating burger & small fries (which i dont do anyway hehe) or sumthin ... i think it's worth it; but good to just cycle it - like any other supplements (or vitamins even)
