yup it can be done on a mtb...correct me brus if i'm wrong coz i can no longer remember exactly...he left libis around 4am and reached baguio around 7 or maybe 8pm...that would be around 15-16hrs. he was alone (that means not a lot of distraction and ek ek) and traveling light...just the same he got there shivering prolly due exhaustion...for a large group of say more than 10, even strong riders, malabong ma-achieve yan...so 20 hrs or more would be more realistic...depende rin siguro sa disiplina and attitude of the riders. I agree on this! no more 2.3 tyre on this or else treat us a cheese burger in every town, heheheheheee

Manila to Baguio is also my dream ride. Can we set this next month? A good training for the 24 hour race in July

Doing it as a group could actually be faster. Halimaws can push the pace and us mortals just hanging behind their asses ;D Count me on in this one. I also want to do padyak going home since I'm just from Nueva Ecija. I'll turn right na at Tarlac. I've always wanted to do this route but I'm hesitant to do it alone.
Hmmm problem is if the ride will start too early, I might not make it to Manila in time. Anyway, if the route will pass through Tarlac City, I could meet the group there. Thats a good 65 km from here so the mileage evens out a bit but just not quite.

ok set it guys, i think we could still sustain our 25km/h speed on flats before the kenon uphill, we could be there by 6pm if we leave by 4am here. let's do it hehehe ;D

Why not leave 2am to avoid traffic so that you can arrive in Baguio in broad daylight pa. Just a suggestion lang sir/s. Mahirap maabutan ng dilim sa Kennon ha..dami pa naman falling rocks.
