Update on Marzoochi EXR Forks; There has been reported cases of disc dropout breakage on this forks, a friend of mine has same experience considering he doesnt do drops or doesnt know how bunnyhop even. But he's using the dropout with an Avid CPS (160mm) 2nd case was reported by some guy in PCN which is fitted Avid CPS as well. There are diffirent models of EXR, I have one also (a coils version) or shall I say Elai has one ;D guess I have to get rid of that fork before it breaks. There might be more unreported incidents so just check your dropouts if you have one of this fork.

May mga Marzocchi Fork ako nakita sa quiapo at cartimar, magnesium na ang posts ( yung kulay tanso not the silver one )
mura lang from P2800 - P3,800
imitasyon ba ito, may manual pa at maganda ang pagkayari
ang na notice ko lang, walang model na nakalagay basta marzocchi lang
pirata ba to o china made?

Marzocchi is prices are dropping like dead flies. my friend told me this is because the new model forks will be all disc brake only models. that is why there is a glut of cheap Marzocchi v brake froks currently being sold.

May P5,300 Mar fork ako nakita sa Paulinas, kulay Balck siya, pero tila mas maganda pa ang finishing ng GTS, tila di pulido ang pagkagawa pero sabi nila tunay daw yon.

staind, the 66vf is like a kid brother of the 888 forks, only single crown but has 35mm stanchions. their are 2 66 models: the RC which has 150mm or 170mm travel!!!1 it has the same internals as the 888(HCSV,etc.). while the Z1FR models has 3 types for 2005: the Z1FR ETA, Z1FR II and Z1FR III. the first one has 170mm travel which can be lowered to 150mm. the Z1FR II and the Z1FR III are almost the same but different internals. all the Z1FR series has 32mm stanchions ang dedicated 20mm thru axle. for more comprehensive info... try to visit www.marzocchi.comhope this will help... happy hunting!!!

I weigh 180 lbs. I set my MX Comp 03 at 35 psi (based on the fork pump gauge) for each leg. Less than that and the fork bobs too much for my liking.

Inquired directly with the company since I'm thinking of getting a pair of these. Minotaur, We have not had any problems with the integrity of our dropout/ disc brake area, however, Avid did make a brake adapter that was not machined correctly, which did snap the brake mount on the fork. Because of this error, Avid paid for all replacements of these errors. There is no issue with our forks, as long as you do not use Avid Brakes. On another note, upgrading to an EXR could give you the benefit of an oil fork, but please keep in mind that this forks are an entry level forks not suitable for aggressive riding styles.
