FSA, Aerozine, Race Face and Truvative... it seems all the chain ring is made by the same manufacturer... only the brand name is different...

Np Pia. Oooh that should look real cool on your bike. Im more conservative on the color scheme and will just stick to the red or the pink perhaps especially since my frame already has a hint of red on it (the Equilink bar at the back). Pink is more my type (obvious gender bias ;D)! The pink Aerozine headset and crank were eye candies! And the affordability of this brand makes it more appealing too. -PiPer (sorry, I'm invading Prich's PC! Forgot to log in ;D ;D ;D)

@ ayen, what other colors do you have for the Aerozine Crankset? Do you have gold or mango color (kind of near orange color..) Also, how much for that set?

mine, use it with my yeti on xt crank.. at first, it was no good... there was this annoying sound after how many rides... got rough.. i open it and there was a nebula of rust inside. so i just cleaned it and regreased it.. voila!!! still good until now.. used as AM/DH ride..
bottom line: they're using a no good stock grease.. better change the grease before using it.. hope my experience can help.

When purchased, does it come with tools? or can you use the shimano tools to install it?

No tools included... Shimano, park or generic tools can use to install the BB...

This is also my initial analysis of this Aerozine BB when I accidentally remove the rubber cover of the bearing during crank installation. The rubber sealed is not that good, dirt and water can easily penetrate the bearing.... But, I like the bling of the BB so i just use it. so far, after 5 months, still no problem for me...

good day, sir, i think jtoms has a point( big shot) that when installing parts we need to check on the grease and others..... in my shop we do not normally depend on the manufacturers grease( for that matter) , before installing the part/s we regrease it with parktools polylube1000. aerozine uses SKF bearings same with mavics' wheel set. .

Agree with bertong putik.... I also put some grease to the BB before I return back the rubber cover to add more protection...

and if i may add - if i'm not mistaken, i believe truvativ was the first one to introduced that kind of 08 xt chainrings design on their stylo and firex 05 or 06 crank models so it's shimano's and aerozine's turn to copy and sport that original truvativ design and now truvativ is back to the plain and simple black chainrings look on their latest model cranks ;D anyway, i'll have that aerozine cranks on my HT soon sir, some info:* AEROZINE started 2006 *Owner used to design/work for truvativ. *AEROZINE is a design/manufacturing company *They design and manufacture for some well known bicycle parts/brands(most: widely known in Europe) winx

comparing to other head parts, AEROZINE is smooth. the quality is good since the bearing is press fit to the cups. they're going to last longer so there's no need to remove them, but in the cheaper head sets they're often loose. another plus point to this head parts is the split crown race. which allows us to fit any number of fork to the same frame without resorting to tools. @ sir pating, just want to ask if the creaking sounds really comes from the headset J probably the compression cup is not that tight
