I have the Aerozine headset - too bad they ran out of silver. I got the black. First impression is that its veeerrry light! 105 grams is it? Easy to install, due to the split crown race. Seems to be quite smooth. A steal for the price. Too early to comment on durability. Thanks Ayen and Speedy Bagal!

Iam just waiting for the ano red X12 crankset (+BB with SKF bearings), headset, and lock on grips which Nilo of Speedy Bagal said will be arriving early May. Based on reviews (see attached) worksmanship looks good not to mention the reasonable price - means good value for money. The weight quoted is also pretty light and comparable with other highend cranksets. Durability, well we just have to wait and see. Aerozine X13 Review By BikeRadarTaiwanese company Aerozine first brought its cranks to market back in 2005, designed by engineers who used to work for one of the big players out there in crank world. The shiny polished X13 features an integrated two-piece set-up similar to the design Shimano uses with a splined bottom bracket spindle and pinch bolt to secure the left-hand arm. Talking of the forged aluminium 7075 T6 arms, they might look chunky but they're actually quite aero with plenty of the material being machined out from the rear to help keep weight down; this means there's a pretty good strength-to-weight ratio going on. In use, this is noticeable and things are kept pretty stiff when you really put the hammer down. The outer finish is top notch while a little less attention to detail has been paid to the rear of the arms, though it's by no means rough. The 172.5mm arms hit the scales at 732g while the BB adds an extra 90g. This means the X13 is really up there battling with the top-end chainsets on the market. Fitting is easy, and the BB slots in no problem but you will need a specific tool, as there isn't one in the box. The bearings run smooth and we had no problems during our test but only time will tell. The 130mm configuration runs with the usual 53/39t aluminium chainrings but Aerozine does make a compact version too. If that wasn't enough choice, you can also go for black arms, although we don't think they look as good because they still run polished silver rings. Bike Radar Verdict: 4 out of 5 stars"The quality and function of these cranks is up there, and there's no arguing with that price tag"

Reliability needs time to prove how good it is... Here is my experienced, when I'm installing my XT crankset, the rubber cover in BB is easily removed and expose the bearing. This means that the bearing is not well protected and can be damage when it is penetrated with water and dirt...

install this colorful crankset on my GT ZASKAR pro replacing the shimano XT. first impression is WOW. matches the decals and caps of my fork. Since it has only one bolt on the left side of the crank i put a locktite on it, so that it will manage to hold the left arm perfectly well. Looks-------- 4 out of 5 (bling bling) weight------- 4.5 out of 5 (almost the same weight with XTR) price--------- 4 out of 5 (not to pricey) performance----- i haven't tried it yet in a technical terrain but the outboard bb are smooth comparing to other BB's.

Just received my aerozine pink BB yesterday and installed later that day also. Used it this morning and its smooth. As per bongjumpers comment about the rubber cover, it is true. I had mine installed and the cover snapped off. No damage though. I will be very wary riding my bike in water knee deep.
btw thanks to ayen for the speedy transaction. Ordered mine last saturday, arrive yesterday (monday).

Thanks Ayen for the weight... mine is just estimate... So the packaging is 115 grams... so if I subtracted it from 918.5 grams, the total weight of the crankset is 803.5 grams... still very near from your weight of 785 grams... Hi Juvebiker 41, it's like shimano rings but it's aerozine...

and if i may add - if i'm not mistaken, i believe truvativ was the first one to introduced that kind of 08 xt chainrings design on their stylo and firex 05 or 06 crank models so it's shimano's and aerozine's turn to copy and sport that original truvativ design and now truvativ is back to the plain and simple black chainrings look on their latest model cranks ;D anyway, i'll have that aerozine cranks on my HT soon

Np Pia. Oooh that should look real cool on your bike. Im more conservative on the color scheme and will just stick to the red or the pink perhaps especially since my frame already has a hint of red on it (the Equilink bar at the back).
